Atención sostenida y selectiva en personas universitarias: influencia de la edad y de la carrera en los datos normativos del Test D2

Variados factores afectan el desempeño en pruebas que requieren la atención, entre ellos, la edad y la escolaridad. Se evalúa la atención sostenida y selectiva de 459 personas universitarias hispanohablantes de las carreras de psicología, ciencias básicas e ingenierías, 58.9 % mujeres, entre 18 y 39 años, mediante el desempeño en puntajes del Test d2. Se aplica un modelo multivariado para verificar el efecto conjunto de las variables edad, sexo y carrera en los puntajes del Test d2: total de respuestas (TR) e índice de concentración (CON). Se observa el efecto principal de la carrera, pero no del sexo y tampoco de la edad en la presente muestra. Se generan datos normativos para el Test d2 por rangos de edad de 18-24 y 25-35 años y para la muestra total, resultados estandarizados necesarios para evaluar de manera confiable a personas hispanohablantes de nivel universitario. Se discute la posible influencia de la carrera universitaria en los datos normativos de pruebas cognitivas.
