Graduated in Pedagogy from the University of Salamanca, Master in Participatory Research and PhD in Theory and History of Education from the Complutense University of Madrid with extraordinary award. Former researcher at the UNESCO Chair of University Management and Policy at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and former technical advisor at the Ministry of Education of Spain. He has been visiting professor at the universities of Roma Tre, Ghana, Lisbon and UNAM. He completed his postdoc with a “José Castillejo” fellowship at IOE-UCL in 2019. Member of ICUFOP of the University of Granada. He is currently Full Professor at the University of Valladolid.
