Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I’ve read the Norms for Authors with respect to the format required for submission
  • I’ve used the form required by the magazine.
  • The title contains anywhere from 8 to 15 words and includes keywords
  • The title, summary, and keywords are in both Spanish and English.
  • The abstract is 150 words in length and follows the structure of the Guidelines for Authors.
  • Keywords (4 to 7) were consulted with the UNESCO thesaurus and ERIC.
  • Literature revision is current and relevant.
  • The method is described in a detailed and complete manner.
  • Results show the analysis of the gathered data.
  • The text as well as the references list adhere to RECIE Style.
  • Whenever possible provide the DOI or URL for bibliography references.
  • Each reference’s DOI has the following format: https://doi.org./10/XXXXXX
  • Each bibliography reference URL has been shortened using https://r.issu.edu.do/
  • I have registered my digital identifier (ORCID) in my profile.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research helps to increase the global exchange of knowledge.

Until 2023 (Vol. 7, no. 1), the articles were published under a license BY-NC-ND. From 2023 (Vol. 7, No. 2) onwards, articles are published under a license BY-NC-SA.

Submission of an article to the journal implies that the authors agree with our Presentation and Publication Agreement.


Privacy Statement

The identity of the authors and their contribution will be preserved by the editorial team and the scientific committee, if the article is rejected.

Articles that are under review/evaluation will not be shared until they are published. The information will not be used for any personal purpose, so it will be confidential.

Personal data will be used exclusively for the purposes stated by this Journal and will not be available for any other purpose, person or institution.
