Open access policy

The Caribbean Journal of Educational Research (RECIE) reaffirms its commitment to the open access movement, ensuring that all published research is freely available to the public. We believe that knowledge is a common good and that its free access promotes a greater exchange of ideas and advances in the academic and scientific community at a global level.

Under this principle, starting with volume 9, all articles published in RECIE will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This license allows users to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the published material, including for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original source, providing a link to the license and indicating if changes have been made.

Until 2023 (Vol. 7, no. 1), articles were published under a BY-NC-ND license. Since 2023 (Vol. 7, no. 2), articles have been published under a BY-NC-SA license. With this new policy, we facilitate broader and more flexible access to research, promoting the dissemination and reuse of knowledge in a responsible and ethical manner.
