Open data policy

In alignment with Open Science principles, RECIE promotes transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility in research. Authors are encouraged to share the data, code, methods, and other materials underlying their research, enabling verification and reuse of the information.

For data storage and dissemination, authors may use institutional repositories, specialized platforms, and other recognized open-access repositories, ensuring proper data citation following SciELO guidelines. If data cannot be shared due to legal or ethical constraints, authors must indicate this in the manuscript and provide alternative access options, such as making the data available upon request.

RECIE promotes the use of open and accessible formats for data publication, facilitating consultation and reuse in future research. Shared datasets should include a variable dictionary, a description of analytical procedures, and any relevant scripts or codes, ensuring transparency and replicability of results.
