Experiencia con cuestionarios gamificados: percepción de estudiantes universitarios de la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación Científica

Resumen

Este estudio cuasiexperimental examina la percepción de 134 estudiantes universitarios sobre el uso de cuestionarios gamificados como estrategia didáctica en la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación. Se compararon, un grupo experimental que empleó la plataforma Quizizz, y un grupo de control que utilizó una metodología tradicional. A través de un cuestionario validado de 30 ítems se evaluaron la motivación, la participación y la utilidad percibida. Los hallazgos evidencian que los cuestionarios gamificados incrementan de manera significativa la motivación y la participación estudiantil, aunque no se observaron diferencias sustanciales de la percepción sobre la calidad del aprendizaje. Se concluye que esta estrategia representa una alternativa eficaz para fortalecer el compromiso del estudiantado de educación superior, si bien su efecto puede variar según las características del contexto educativo.

Edison Javier Almeida-Baroja, Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE

Es ingeniero en Mecatrónica por la Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE (Ecuador), con formación de posgrado en Educación y Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación. Es máster en Investigación en Educación por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Su trayectoria académica e investigadora se centra en la integración de la tecnología en contextos educativos, así como en el desarrollo de soluciones tecnológicas aplicadas, con experiencia en investigación y publicación científica.
